Chef Jeff Notes: After working with this product I feel that it needs a warning. These burgers in the thawed raw form are very realistic to meat. It actually gave me a very strong 'ICK' feeling and I didn't want it to touch anything in the kitchen including my hands. The raw texture reminded me more like ground chicken than beef but once cooked the flavour and texture was incredible. Ooooh and yes it bleeds. The red liquid comes to the surface as it cooks, and is present in the packaging if thawed. It will definitely be a little too 'real' for some.
